WELCOME TO TALKING BARS

Talking Bars is affiliated to United Friendship and our aim is to give incarcerated men and women a voice to the outside world.
Some are hoping to make new friends to correspond with by mail. Others have written articles they would like to share with us.

The prisoners here are serving varying sentences, ranging from a few years to death. They all live in a very harsh environment, where one
of the few highlights is Mail Call.

You can make a huge difference to a person's quality of life just by sending them a letter or card.
 

If you know a prisoner who would like to have something added to Talking Bars, please let us know. We cannot include photos
or requests for financial assistance.
