PRUNING WORKSHOP
12 January 2010

PRUNING WORKSHOP

Last December, participants in Orchard Cardiff managed to plant a total of 47 trees across 39 different community groups and we are pleased to receive the support of the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens in arranging workshops.

As we promised last year, we are arranging pruning workshops this winter to ensure that the trees bear the best possible fruit. We would like to extend our invitation to others of you who have expressed an interest in the Orchard Cardiff project.

There will be two workshops, both run by Aisling Judge who undertook our training in November.

Pruning Workshop A
  10 – 12 on Friday 29th January
Riverside Community Garden Project, off Western Avenue, Llandaff
(hosted by the RCMA)

Pruning Workshop B
  10 – 12 on Saturday 30th January
Forest Farm, Whitchurch
(hosted by the Friends of Forest Farm)

The workshops will cost £10 per participant

There has been a lot of interest in pruning workshops, and spaces are limited. Please get your booking to us with payment by 15th January.
