WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AIM TO MAKE YOUR BOOKING AT LEAST TWO WEEKS AHEAD - OR BOOK FROM ONE VISIT TO THE NEXT TO BE SURE OF GETTING THE DATE AND TIME YOU PREFER
In order that we can plan our days to make best use of the time available, we work by appointment only, scheduling between four and six pets on a typical day.
It is important to us that clients keep to their appointed time slots, or at least telephone us as soon as possible if they find they are running late. We do not have the luxury of a full-time receptionist, and unscheduled arrivals (either late or early) invariably cause us hiccups in the smooth running of our busy working day.
Please remember we are dealing with live creatures, and the unexpected can always happen........ any pick-up time quoted will be an approximate estimate based on previous groomings. Some animals can become stressed and more difficult to handle if they sense their grooming is being hurried, and we do like to keep the sessions as relaxed and peaceful as possible!
The ideal situation is that we can call you at home or on a cell phone when your pet is ready (or almost ready) so that neither party is kept waiting for too long.
Most pets are sleepy and relaxed after their grooming, and will willingly snooze for half an hour or so, but it is unfair on them to leave them here for hours on end!
Under the terms of our Planning Permission, we close the salon at 6pm, and all pets must be collected by this time, except under very special and unforeseen circumstances
We can schedule appointments at any time between 9am and approx. 4pm (depending on the breed/type of dog) but find the mornings are generally more popular and become booked out further ahead. During the summer months we are always especially busy, as we also are on the run-up to Christmas each year, and early pre-booking is advised. Normally, however, we should be able to find a slot within the next 10 to 15 working days.

Please give a minimum of 24hrs notice in the event of any cancellation, to allow us to offer your appointment to someone else. In the event of a late cancellation, where we are not able to fill the appointment at short notice, we regret that all, or part of, the grooming fees may still be payable, normally as a surcharge on your next visit.
