Welcome to the new website of Sunhill Free Range Eggs, a business run by Emily (age 2yrs 9m) and George (age 7months) Butcher, and helped by their mother Katherine!

We started the business last year, with the help of two Welsummer hens, and looked forward to enjoying our own free range eggs! We were then given a further five hens, a cockeral and an incubator, and the rest as they say, is history.

The hens (all 20 of them) have 500 acres to roam, although they tend to stick to the immediate 5 acres surrounding the hen house. They have plenty of woodland in which to roam as well. Apart from their own natural foraging, the hen's diet is supplemented by barley and corn.

We only sell our own free range eggs and don't source eggs from anywhere else.
