Staffordshire Scouts are embarking on a mammoth mission to build a childrens home in Kenya. Building will begin in 2013 and the project will be completed in 2015. The Kenya Project team need to raise £79,000 to build the home, so all volunteers have to raise a substantial sum and cover their own air fare.

Staffordshire Scouting has asked all groups in the County to help this project, but our Group has a special reason to get involved.  One of our former Scouts, now with the District Explorer Unit (based at Rolleston), is taking part in this project, so Stretton Scout Group will be holding fund raising events to support this valuable project.
