Signs of Christmas
You can tell Christmas is coming. John Lewis has released its latest Christmas ad online, featuring a young girl and the Man in the Moon. I'm not as taken with it as last year's Monty the Penguin but hopefully it will grow on me.

I'm told that there is no truth in the rumour that a former MP not too far away was cast for the role but the deal fell through because the costs of keeping him warm while they filmed up there would have blown the whole budget for the ad. Never mind. Maybe next year there'll be a Malagan or South African theme.
