Many thanks to the resident who spoke with Lachie Gillies about the poor of the road down to Staffin beach.

We have been in contact with Donnie Macleod. He is aware of the problem along with 'large road failures between Digg & Flodigarry'. Apart from the expected weather issue, he has a problem that his hot box lorry is unavailable as it is currently awaiting repairs in the workshop. He does, however, hope that the repairs will be carried out 'over the next few weeks'.

We will be checking again in the middle of February . . .
