Introducing the
Jacobs Armory Small Sword No 1.
After months of interviews, searching web sites and looking at portfolios Jacob's Armory has awarded the commission of fabricating parts for the first Jacob's Armory small sword to a Scottish Highlands foundry. We are working closely with the foundry (who for the time being will remain nameless) to produce a faithful replica of this beautiful French small swords from our collection.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Robert Hugh Wrightson who, during the recent Small Sword symposium, found on the blade, a date inscribed of 1766. The Jacobs Armory Small Swords are available in both brass and bronz (we can also do silver for those who want the very best) and will be fitted with a contemporary epee blade for fencing and double wide muskateer blades for something more special... We currently have three collaborators working to recreate the original blades as closely as possable, for film use and that extra discriminating collector.
“Jacobs Armory Small Sword No.1” is not the most romantic name so we are herewith inviting people to submit possible names for the weapon... We could not be more excited...
