It's hard to believe that we are now in the middle of October, having taken on the ownership of Skye Chocolate just over 6 months ago now.

It has been a busy 6 months for Skye Chocolate, making sure that the fantastic quality of Carole and her team is maintained, meeting existing, and new, customers and experimenting with new chocolates for the future.

We have visited The Speciality Chocolate Fair at London Olympia, where it was good to meet with some of our very helpful suppliers and we have spoken on the phone to most of the others.

For the future, we have another visit to Olympia, for The Chocolate Show, and look forward to attending some local Christmas Fairs. A visit to the famous Callebaut Chocolate Academy is pending for next March and, in the meantime, we will continue to produce Carole's gorgeous products and experiment with some alternatives, some of which will be included in our selection boxes next year.

We have moved the website to www.skyechocolate.com (although chocolateskye.co.uk will still link) and the next task with the website is to reinstate the on-line shop, which we will work on over the quieter winter months.
