In this second book of the Fireblade Trilogy, Professor Evans must battle his enemies without his mentor/lover Marlena, who is out of the country on an archaeological dig.  Nothing and no one are as they appear to be, and perhaps no one can be trusted.  Can the dead come back?  Are there really some who can't be killed at all?  Is there a back door to hell?
