Welcome to The Silly Army website

The Silly army is a new alternative outdoor sports club , based in the Bournemouth area of Dorset , England.

We invented The Silly Army as an excuse for adults of all ages to run around like kids, playing silly games and sports like we used to do at school. Some of our favourite games we play include tag bulldog, dodgeball, spacehopper polo and spacehopper rugby, ultimate frisbee (sort of),  and five a side tennis.

Our regular meet is 1pm every Sunday at King's Park between the Football pitches and the children's play area, just behind the Cricket pavillion. 

There is no charge and anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to come and join in - you don't have to be super fit or good at sports - enthusiasm, ideas, a bit of imagination and the ability to play games that involve running around with a general sense of  fun, are what count!

We also play some woodland based games and beach games, when the weather is right, and organise activity trips for members when possible.
