Hello and welcome to our website, we hope you find it useful.  The Shirlie Project was set up in 1994 and since that time has been at the forefront of representing people with support issues into paid employment.   

We are a friendly and innovative project with a unique approach to moving people with a variety of support needs forward in their lives.  The people that we represent have a varied background with one common aim - they have all faced difficult times and need an opportunity to help people make positive changes.  Employment is often the key for them to move forward and allow them to grow in confidence and status within their local community.
 

We support our clients by employing job coaches who work with people on an individual basis exploring aspirations and making contact with local employers to secure employment.  If necessary we then invest the time to provide support in the workplace as and when required.
