Scottish Ancestral Research is run by Alison Spring, a qualified library and information professional.

She has over 30 years' research experience, has taught family history classes at college and university level, and written for "Your Family Tree" magazine, as well as appearing on BBC Scotland's "Digging Up Your Roots" radio programme.
