Gellions 24th January

The Gellions was heaving yesterday - as usual! You could barely get near the bar at some points and there was less room than usual for dancing but people managed it nevertheless!!

The band finished at 7pm as they had to get to Buckie for their next gig but it was still busy after they left. Those in the know will have spotted the Vatersay Boys in the crowd - I'm sure a lot of you will have been heading over there afterwards (I know I was!!) I hope they enjoyed hearing Schiehallion.

Today is Finlay's at 4pm. I'm heading over there later. I've found it's the best way to spend a Sunday evening.

Don't forget, it's Burns Day today. I'll be wearing my kilt with pride - hope you will too!
