I spoke to Gwyn & co today several times they are making fantastic progress and should be at Muirton this evening.
debatable whether or not they will get down the flight but that is really academic as it would be a waste of time going out the Sea Lock until the tide is in their favour.

1400 they will be leaving Clachnaharry sea loch and carrying the tide down through the Inverness Firth.
I understand their is a "cheering Party " arranged at Chanonry Point to wave, shout and cheer them on as they pass.
the same party should then make their way to Cromarty where the Lifeboat hopes to meet them and escort them through the "Sutors".
Piper may be on hand .
They will go Straight to the mooring and George in his Boat "Heart of Gold" will ferry them ashore for a shindig at the Royal.

come on Guys turn out in force to welcome them home: it was no mean feat!!
