Made contact with Neil via his damp mobile phone. He asked for a weather forecast. Looks like they are staying put for a day or two until this next low goes through. Moral is good - boosted by several Guinness last night. They were just heading off for a plate of heart attack - the first cooked breakfast for a long time. Gwyn is going to see if they can get wifi hotspot for his laptop and download some grib forecasts.
Looking ahead they are still going to push around the south and east coast of Eire and Isle of Man, Crinan canal then Fort Bill. Suggested that Friday a.m. the wind may drop to F5 / F4 WSW in the south of Eire.
