Text message from George received on gm's mobile on Tuesday early afternoon:- Slipped mooring lines Miama at 0838. 900 miles from here to Bermuda. Out of contact for over a week. To which I replied:- Good it will be nice and quiet for a while. Good luck. ........... Received iridium sat phone sms to email account confirming my test messages were getting through. Updates are currently scheduled between us for transmission / reception at 1300 GMT for one hour. |   |
