Learning new skills
For over 10 years my upholstery business was my great delight. I loved re-upholstering furniture of all shapes and sizes, with high standards being my trademark.
Realising that over the years I had built up an array of skills, I decided to start teaching and stop taking on commissions. I am delighted to say the experience proved to be hugely rewarding. Students joined me in my workshop in the Highlands for over 2 years, many returning month after month.
It felt like a logical follow-on to add Lampshade Workshops to the teaching calendar with students able to create a totally unique shade that reflects their own style and individuality.
If you too share my enthusiasm for working with your hands then why not join me for one of my workshops. Not only will you leave with skills you can take forward and build on but you will also meet an interesting bunch of people.
