Hi there I have been gardening since a child, brought up by a family of avid gardeners. In between the homework and revision, family time would be spent in the garden, spreading compost, pruning hedges, looking after vegetables and building ponds. When i left university, I had no idea that my girlfriend at the time (and now wife!), had such green fingers. One day, sitting in a mundane office, she called me up and told me that she had gotten an allotment! Little did i know that this was the beginning of weekend after weekend of "gardening"! Actually I found that I thoroughly enjoyed it, made loads of new friends, akd felt that I was truly contributing to a hollistic and ideal lifestyle. After a little while of owning our own allotment, we then decided to set up a community garden in taffs well. We enjoyed gardening, growing your own, and meeting new people so much that we wanted to enable this lifestyle for others in our community. We felt that everyone should have access to this. The community garden is now 6 years old and involves loads of local community volunteers. We have a polytunnel, pizza oven, compost toilet, raised beds, a play area, hops, vines, an orchard and loads more! However, after a career of project management in construction, engineering, etc, I was made redundant. On the back of this, I took the opportunity to take what I enjoy the most, and turn it into a business. This way I can design and build gardens for all people and families. Sometimes, people just need a helping hand to start or finish a garden, or sometimes they want a complete re-design, making a garden accessible fpr elderly, or young families, or to make it more wildlife friendly. What I emjoy the most is designing a garden for children, making it weird and interesting, with hidden areas, funky plants and spaces for imaginative play. If I can help you in any way, let me know.
