Tottenham Hotspur line up shock £3m bid for John O'Shea
Sunderland defender John O'Shea has been linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.
Along with fellow centre-back Wes Brown, 33-year-old O'Shea was widely praised for the role that he played in helping to keep the Black Cats in the Premier League last season.
However, the Republic of Ireland international has just 12 months left to run on his contract at the Stadium of Light, which has alerted new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, according to the telegraph.
The report adds that the Tottenham would look to offer around £3m for the defender's services.
