Sunderland set to sign Costel Pantilimon
Sunderland are closing on a deal for Manchester City goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon.
According to The Journal Sunderland will hold talks with the Romania international in the next few days and are confident of making him their third signing of the summer.
Pantilimon, who will battle Vito Mannone for the number one spot next season, is set to jet into the North East for talks in the early part of the week and Sunderland expect to unveil the signing before the end of the week.
West Ham and Arsenal have been linked with Pantilimon in the past.
