Fiorentina to snub signing Sunderland striker permanently
Fiorentina have declined to make Modibo Diakite's loan deal permanent, according to the defender's agent.
The 27-year-old Frenchman joined the Italian club on loan from Sunderlandin January for the second half of the 2013/14 season.
"Diakite will definitely return to Sunderland after his loan," Ulisse Savini toldcalciomercato.it.
"At the moment I have no news from Fiorentina or from other clubs so we are preparing to face the next season with the Black Cats."
