Ghana prospect Ema Boateng reveals Sunderland, Man City offers

Ghana prospect Ema Boateng admits he chose to sign for Helsingborgs IF ahead of Manchester City and Sunderland.  

Boateng, 20-Year-old, admits he had offers to fly to England for talks, but was happy to stay in Sweden.

"All trips were booked but everything felt perfect in Helsingborg. I got to sample training and was offered a contract so I stayed and signed.

"I did not know whether City and Sunderland would offer a contract and the transfer window was about to close so I did not dare take the chance," he told the Evening Post.
