Bridcutt up for Man City test
Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt is confident he can handle the pressure of facing Manchester City this week.
Sunderland must bounce back after defeat at home to Hull City.
Bridcutt said: “On Wednesday night I will be playing against some of the world’s best players and it’s a challenge I am looking forward to.
“If we stick to the basics, marking and defending in the way we know we can, we could get a good result there. We are not going to lie down and take it. We are going to come out fighting.”
