Bridcutt joins Sunderland from Brighton for undisclosed fee
Sunderland have signed Scotland midfielder Liam Bridcutt from Brighton on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Bridcutt joins his former boss Gus Poyet at the Stadium of Light having been signed by the Uruguayan for Albion in 2010.
He began his career with Chelsea, spending three years with the Blues and took in loan spells with Yeovil Town, Watford and Stockport before joining Poyet on the south coast, where he made over 150 appearances.
