Diakite close to Fiorentina
Mobido Diakite is set to return to Italy, as the Sunderland defender closes in on a switch to Fiorentina.
The former Lazio man has seen talks between his Premier League owners and La Viola accelerate in recent hours and an agreement on a loan deal until the summer all but agreed.
Diakite is seen as closing in on completing the move, with only formalities preventing its official announcement.
The 26-year-old, who only moved out to Sunderland in the summer, had also been linked with Parma during this transfer window.
