Poyet: Vergini will suit Sunderland style
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet says new signing Santi Vergini will suit his style of play.
The defender has arrived on-loan to the end of the season.
“That’s the key, the way he plays and manages the game,” Poyet toldsafc.com. “He can pass, can see angles and has calmness.
“Hopefully he’ll start getting used to the game, [be it] playing a part [tomorrow] or playing in the cup on Saturday.
“He needs that period to adapt and the quicker he does that, the better for the team.”
