Number of Clubs want Craig Gardner
A number of Premier League and Championship clubs are monitoring Craig Gardner's contract situation at Sunderland.
Gardner is out of contract at the Stadium of Light this summer and has yet to be offered a new deal by Sunderland.
The news has alerted a host of Premier League and top Championship sides to Gardner's possible availability this month.
With Gardner being available on a free transfer at the end of the season Sunderland could find their resolve tested to keep him this month as there are sure to be no shortage of takers for goalscoring midfielder who has made over 200 Premier League appearances in his career.
