Sunderland are finalising a deal for Internacional striker Ignacio Scocco.

Scocco should arrive at Sunderland later this week.

His father told Argentine radio: "Today he is more likely to go toSunderland. River [Plate] and Newell’s [Old Boys] asked for him, but the amount that Inter wants no club in Argentina can pay that money."
