Alonso to Sunderland on Loan
Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso is expected to fly to England today ahead of a January move to Sunderland.
The Spaniard will join the Premiership outfit on loan for the rest of the season after struggling for games with the Viola.
Alonso has featured in just three Serie A games this term for a total of 171 minutes. He has played in 6 Europa League matches.
The 22-year-old, formerly of Real Madrid, joined Fiorentina from Bolton in the summer.
