Poyet wary of asking too much from Brown
Gus Poyet is wary of asking too much from Wes Brown.
Poyet insists he will heed the advice of his medical staff to ensure the 34-year-old does not do too much too soon after such a lengthy absence.
“I respect the medical staff and when I got here, we had everyone fit which was impressive,” he said.
“I said to them that I’ll follow them. If they tell me that Wes needs a rest, then I’ll go with that. But we talk to the player and he has a big input into that as well. It’s important to communicate.”
