Wes Brown glad to do Man Utd a favour
Sunderland defender Wes Brown was happy to do Manchester United a favour with victory over Manchester City on Sunday.
As an Old Trafford old boy, Sunday’s memorable win had extra significance for the United diehard.
“I had my mates in a private box and they are all City fans,” he said.
“So naturally, I gave them plenty of stick.
“But for myself, it’s always good to beat City and for some reason, we always beat them at home.
“In fact, I’d play them every week - only joking!”
