Bardsley aims to play his way to new Sunderland deal
Phil Bardsley hopes to play his way to a new deal at Sunderland.
The fullback is beginning to win back the fans' trust after his casino antics over the summer.
"I’d love to stay here. Obviously it’s up to the club. I’m in the last seven to eight months of my contract and we’ll see.
"I’ve got to perform. In the last two games I’ve played in, I’ve found some form and now I’ve got to continue that form. I need to continue to try and bring some quality to this team and hopefully I can do that."
