Brown eager to continue Sunderland comeback
Wes Brown hopes to continue his Sunderland comeback this week.
The 34-Year-old is keen to play some part against Southampton in The 4th round of the Capital One Cup tomorrow.
The former Manchester United Center-back only played 45minutes against Hull City last Saturday and told The Sunderland Echo “It was only 45 minutes, so for myself that was fine.
“It was just good to be back in the swing of things.
“Hopefully, I can get a chance against Southampton.
“That is what I have been working for, that is why I have been working hard in training.
“We will see what happens, but touch wood I can play a part."
