Sessegnon pleads guilty to drink driving
Former Sunderland star Stephane Sessegnon has been banned from driving for 20 months after admitting drink driving in Newcastle while his teammates were playing a cup match against Mk Dons
Sessegnon, 29, was stopped by police on the Westgate Road in Newcastle at 7.51pm on August 27 - roughly at the same time as his side went 1-0 down to MK Dons in the Capital One Cup clash at the Stadium of Light.
Sessegnon was also fined £7,600, including costs by Newcastle Magistrates' Court. He was also given 3 points from an earlier driving offence in February.
