O'Shea and Giaccherini return
Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio will get back two key players for this weekend’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.
Central defender John O’Shea will return from a one-match suspension whilst winger Emanuele Giaccherini is available after sitting out last weekend’s loss to Arsenal because of injury.
"They are ready to be selected,” Di Canio told SAFC.com.
"We know Giaccherini is crucial, and O'Shea, who is our captain, is a crucial player.
"There is no doubt that they will be in the game."
