Borini raring to go after switch from Liverpool
Fabio Borini hopes he can achieve his objectives at Sunderland this season after agreeing with Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers that it was the right time to go out on loan.
The Italian striker told Sunderland Echo: “The move came very quickly at the end of the transfer window.
“After a chat with the Liverpool manager, I understood that there was not much room there to achieve what I wanted to achieve this season.
“I needed to play and to get a place in the team.
“It came from that chat and I came here to fulfil my aims.”
