Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano, 29,  is reportedly Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio's latest transfer target as he continues to rebuild.

 

Di Canio has signed a raft of new players this summer but still wants to land at least a couple more with a midfielder in the mould of Gargano, and a couple of full-backs on his wishlist. He had been linked with Tottenham's Tom Huddlestone and Inter Milan's Alfred Duncan but neither deal materialised and now, according to the latest reports, Gargano is the top target.
