Transfer Talk: Besiktas want Titus Bramble
Former Sunderland defender Titus Bramble is wanted by Turkish club Besiktas.
The 31-year-old is a free agent after failing to win a new deal with Sunderland.
Besiktas’ new coach Slaven Bilic is keen to grab the powerful defender to bolster his defence.
Bramble featured 19 times for Sunderland last season under Martin O'Neill, but he didn't get a game under current boss Paolo Di Canio.
He switched to Sunderland from Wigan for £1million in July 2010 by steve Bruce who Bramble under at Wigan and played 51 games for the North East club.
But any plans Besiktas had to offer Bramble Europa League football next season have been dashed.
UEFA have banned the Turks from the 2013-14 competition over match-fixing allegations.
