Sunderland are poised to launch a £7m bid for Wigan Athletic winger Callum 
McManaman, according to a report.
The England Under-21 international impressed for Wigan towards the end of last season despite their relegation to the Championship.
Sunderland head coach Paolo Di Canio is set to make an offer for the 22-year-old to beat his former manager Roberto Martinez, now at Everton to his signature, reports The People.
McManaman made 30 appearances for Wigan last season, scoring 6 goals.
