Transfer Talk: Sunderland are open to offers for Sessegnon

Sunderland Boss Paolo di Canio could be prepared to let Stephane Sessegnon leave Sunderland as he starts his summer shake-up.

The Benin international has reportedly had his head turned by interest from other clubs and is keen to leave Sunderland.

Sessegnon, 29, still has 3 years left on his current deal at the Stadium of Light and while the club are not actively looking for suitors they would reportedly welcome any offers for Sessegnon.

Paolo Di Canio is preparing an overhaul of his squad with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet on the verge of joining Liverpool and Sessegnon could be next.

The former PSG attacker joined Sunderland for £6m in 2011 and has scored 18 goals in 95 games, including at Newcastle in April - a victory that helped secure the club's Premier league status.
