Tottenham fullback Danny Rose enjoyed his time with Sunderland last season.
Rose says his Sunderland experience has made him a better player.
The 22-year old made 29 appearances for Sunderland scoring just the once against Aston Villa
He said: “I have a lot to be thankful to Sunderland for.
"Martin O’Neill as well. He gave me my chance to play regularly in the Premier League and I have to be grateful for that.
“I enjoyed my time there, it really helped my development.”
