Sunderland are ready to make a fresh offer for Inter Defensive midfielder Alfred Duncan after having their first bid turned down by the Nerazzurri.
The 20-year-old is a sought after commodity after impressing for Livorno during a 6 month loan last season, where he helped them to qualify to the Serie A after winning the Serie B final play-off against Empoli

Former Inter chief of scout, Valentino Angeloni, is now at Sunderland and is keen to bring Duncan to the Black Cats after seeing the Ghanian in person for much of last season.
The Journal report that Sunderland are ready to raise their offer from €6 million (£5 millon) to €8.2 million (£7 million) and will present an offer to the Nerazzurri next week.
A part of the Inter Primavera side that won the inaugural NextGen Series in 2012, Duncan made 22 appearances and scored three goals while on loan at Livorno last season.
