North west Sutherland is an idyllic area of dramatic scenery, white beaches and some of Scotlands highest mountains. The cottage in the small remote village of Durness, and on the North Coast 500 Route, is ideal for coast and beach walking, fishing in lochs and sea, and hiking mountains.

The cottage is within easy striking distance of places to visit such as Cape Wrath, Balnakeil Beach, Smoo Cave, Faraid Head, Sandwood Bay, Handa Island, and mountains and Munros like Ben Stack, Ben Hope, Ben Loyal, Arkle and Foinaven.
Sleeping 4 in two twin rooms, this comfortable, pet-friendly, cosy cottage is ideal for walkers, fishers and beachcombers alike. It has two sitting rooms with wood burning stoves, a bathroom and a shower room including lots of hot water for after your day out. The kitchen contains all you need and there's a dining table in the front porch overlooking Loch Eriboll and fantastic sunrises on a clear day, with another table in the sunroom facing the garden to the west.
