We're delighted to announce that Speysiders Chairman Robbie Thomson is on the mend following the stroke he took two weeks ago. After a week in the high dependancy unit in Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin Robbie was moved into the rehab ward where he has been receiving physio on a daily basis. His leg is getting stronger by the day and his arm is nearly back to normal with the grip in his hand improving all the time. Robbie has been mastering the zimmer (soon to be replaced by a strimmer) and is looking forward to getting home in the next week or two. A wee tip for anyone planning going in to visit Rob during the afternoon visiting hours - save yourselves a walk up to the ward coz 9 times oot o 10 he'll be in the staff canteen on the ground floor.
