There was a return to the wintry conditions of late this morning with fresh snow falls in the area. The forecast is for heavy snow overnight before turning to heavy sleet around 7a.m. The sleet is forecast to hang around until approx 7p.m.

We'll monitor the ground closely and keep everyone informed of any chance of postponement  asap.
