After the excavation of the Cairds' Cave, it was decided to survey the remaining caves to see which ones had the most potential for further archaeological excavation.

This has now been done, and we have found evidence of usage of many of the caves like pieces of pottery and cut bone. In one cave, we found an engraved sandstone slab.
