Welcome to the website of Revcom Lincoln Imps

Who are we?  REVCOM is a National communications charity, and as our primary aim, we provide a radio communications support facilty that is available to local and national government and statutory and voluntary emergency authorities in cases of emergency and disaster.

What do we do?  Well, apart from our primary function, in order to train and keep our members "up to speed", we offer our services to the organisers of sports and community events, such as cross-country equestrian events, marathons, cycle races, galas, parades, etc.  Our equipment can also be used by non-Revcom members, (such as event marshalls, first-aiders, etc.), so long as we are in attendance and monitoring/supervising transmissions.

What area do we cover?  As far as the Revcom Lincoln Imps team is concerned, we cover the whole of "historic" Lincolnshire from the Humber to The Wash, plus surrounding areas of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.  We have been known to travel even further afield so don't dismiss us if you're in, say, the East Riding or King's Lynn.  We'll always try to help you if we can, and for events in other parts of the country, we'll try to put you in touch with a REVCOM team nearer to you.  For events in the Northamptonshire area, follow the link to Revcom Civil Aid Northampton on our "links" page.  Alternatively ring our National contact number direct on 0844 567 2970 and the duty member will give you the information that you need.
