FOOTBALL FUN

ENJOY PLAY2GIVE, a fun-filled football-tastic event with lots going on for everyone. With a 6-a-side tournament and a fun day, you don't want to miss Oxford City Football Ground on Sunday 5th July 2009 all raising lots of cash for the Oxford Children's Hospital. Teams open to adults, and children, women and well just about anyone, welcome to come down for a filled day of entertainment, football and well plenty of action! As well as a football tournament, there will be a fun day with things like. . . .

Playbus

The Big-blue Oxfordshire Playbus will be making its appearance for the very first time. Children of all ages will be kept amused with all sorts of different activities from playing together, do the arty and crafty, make new friends, play around and have a mega load of fun on this double-decker of a bus. You can't miss it, as it's blue enough. Sure even the big kids (the adults) at heart will love it too....

All for free amusement, no charge. Oxfordshire Playbus is a charity so please take a moment at their website www.oxonplaybus.org.uk

Radio Cherwell

Radio Cherwell, the Radio Station that broadcasts around the Oxford Hospitals, will be once again providing an excellent sound service providing the entertainment around the crowds, playing great songs all day long and keeping everyone updated on the match scores and fixtures. Radio Cherwell provide their day for free with dedicated volunteers giving up a whole day to bring life to the event. They will even play your record requests!! Radio Cherwell is also a charity, and Play2Give will make a donation for their excellent service on the day.

Heart

Heart 102.6 will be down at Oxford City Football Ground too, the 'Heart Angels' will be in town! They will be providing the kids with free face painting for a few hours, and chilling out players and spectators with the 'Heart Alfresco' Zone.

Food & Drink

The Oxford City FC Kiosk will be open serving fresh hot food such as burgers and bacon baps, and brewing up refreshments such as tea, coffees and soft drinks.   The Clubhouse Bar will also be open from 11am, serving those pints, spirits and cokes.  Profit takings from food and drink made by the Club will be donated into the Play2Give Fund.
