Volunteer
If playing the beautiful game isn't your thing, or you’re a woman and not really interested in the football, we still need your help! We are looking for volunteers (male or female) to help us run this event, whether it be shaking a bucket, giving a hand stewarding or having a go helping our fun day coordinator Beth manage the activities. Please contact the event co-ordinator, Andrew, at play2give@hotmail.com. If you’d like to offer an activity to add to the fun day, or can lend a hand in other ways, maybe going around your local area spreading the word about the work of the event, please do also let us know. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding, a great experience and it's a great way to meet new people and offer your support to a very important local charity such as the Children’s Hospital. Play2Give would not even be happening without the hard work of all those who help organise it, as well as the people who help on the day, who generously give their time and skills in many different areas. Maybe you’d even like to get involved and volunteer on a regular or ad-hoc basis for either the Children’s Hospital or Have a Heart Charities? If you do, let us know as the charities themselves will be extremely grateful.
